Our Missions

HSFC mission is to provide quality health care, mental health services and required ancillary services to the homeless, poverty level and low-income residents of Silver Lake, Echo Park, East Hollywood and neighboring communities of Los Angeles. These communities are in most desperate need; the majority is at the 200% or below Federal Poverty Level.

Our Vision

HSFC envisions itself as part of a larger network of institutions addressing the health and wellbeing of the underserved and indigent. No one is ever turned away for lack of funds. Since its doors opened, the HSFC has continued to provide primary medical care and mental health counseling to a population that is frequently marginalized when it comes to healthcare and who normally forego medical attention.

Working with public funding, a handful of doctors, a small core staff and the generosity of loyal volunteers, the clinic manages to provide Health Care services for children and adults.
